Trip Details

There is nothing quite like going on a journey out to sea to witness the majestic whales feed, play, and procreate.

The humpback whales are the most commonly encountered whales during the tour. They may not be the biggest whales but they can grow up to 60 feet and weigh as much as 40 tons. Humpbacks generally have a black dorsal and mottled black and white ventral but did you know that the shape and color pattern on their dorsal fin and flukes are unique like human fingerprints? Another amazing thing about them is the magical songs that they create which can travel great distances along the water. These powerful swimmers are a sight to behold as they use their massive fluke to propel themselves through the water and even make stunning leaps that create tremendous splashes.

During the winter months, the humpback whales travel back to their favorite breeding ground in southern Baja California to reproduce while some nurse their young.

Don’t miss this prolific whale watching season and enjoy an amazing opportunity to observe whales in their natural environment.
