Online Open Water Course Overview

When you get to Cabo San Lucas, Amigos Del Mar will complete your Open Water Certification with a review of your PADI eLearning sessions and practical applications of the skills you've learned.

Duration: 12-15 hours to complete online course

Requirements: Good physical health

You have to be at least 10 years old to participate in the PADI eLearning Open Water online program. Upon enrollment, you will have access to interactive presentations which includes videos, audio, graphics, and reading. To determine your progress, there are short quizzes to help you review and go over things that you might have missed. PADI's eLearning allows you to study independently at the pace most convenient for you.

Your PADI Pro will provide the gear that you will need to for your dive such as a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive gauges, and a tank.

Getting Started
The PADI Open Water Diver Course online will take approximately 12-15 hours to complete. Please inform us once you finished the eLearning portion and notify that you are ready for the practical part of the course. You can bring a print out of your eRecord to your upon you arrival.

Accomplishing the requirements of PADI Open Water Diver will make you a certified entry-level diver. Benefits include the ability to rent dive gear, get air fills and dive anywhere in the globe. Diving in similar conditions you trained in and trying different conditions will help you develop into a better diver.
