Cabo San Lucas might not celebrate Memorial Day – but we did see a lot of hot dogs and beer going on.  Cabo has a significant Gringo population and we still enjoy our national holidays.

The biggest thing going on in the Sea of Cortez this week is Tropical Storm Amanda – our first named storm of the season.  She is still way far south of us and the earliest she will be in the Cabo area is on Saturday.  And Amanda still has plenty of time to ‘take a left’ and head out to sea.

It is a little hotter than normal and we can feel the humidity increasing.  But we still had some great diving over the weekend.  Across the Bay was spectacular – with a visibility of 80 feet.  And we are looking at another Cabo Pulmo trip this week – we were there a few weeks back and had a great dive with the Bull Sharks – check out the Facebook page to see the shots that Luis took.
